The Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters, and Laminators reports that those interested in attending the group's first-ever Safety, Health, and Environmental Summit can get the $105 room rate through dulles.hyatt.com. AIMCAL says the day-and-a-half program in Washington DC will focus on the converting industry and address such topics as plant safety, product liability, risk assessment, equipment safety, and regulatory updates related to safety, productivity, and the environment.
"The new AIMCAL Safety, Health, and Environmental Summit (SHE) was organized with the converting industry professional in mind," explains AIMCAL. "The program was selected by industry peers and designed to address pertinent issues facing converters and suppliers in today’s converting industry environment. The programming includes both industry and government professionals and is aimed at providing real take-home value to the summit attendees. Networking opportunities during lunch and the evening reception offer excellent opportunities to discuss these current topics in detail with the top people in the industry."
An evening reception on Thursday, February 12, 6 - 7:30 pm, will include tabletop exhibits from companies offering products and services to the converting industry. Participation is available to AIMCAL members and non-members for a fee. Summit Fees are as follows:
