WebHandlersQuiz 10: Laminating – If a two-layer laminate product curls to the top layer in the machine direction, which would reduce the curl: increase or decrease the top layer pre-laminate tension?

If a laminate curls when tension is removed, it will curl to the product that has the greater web strain. To reduce the curl, reduce the tension in the layer that is on the inside of the curl. Therefore, the answer is to decrease the top layer tension.
