Kodak Showcases Award-Winning Packaging Solutions Portfolio

ROCHESTER, NY | Visitors to Labelexpo learned more about the breadth of Kodak’s packaging solutions and industry expertise that helps package printers, tradeshops, and brand owners lower their costs, improve quality, streamline production, and create high-impact packaging. With solutions for applications such as labels, flexible packaging, folding carton, and lenticular printing, the company intends to deliver value to help customers uncover new revenue and profit opportunities.

Samples of the same design printed on labels, folding carton, and flexible packages demonstrated the company’s capability of delivering repeatability and consistency across substrates. In addition, the KODAK FLEXCEL NX Digital Flexographic System and KODAK Unified Workflow Solutions for Packaging were demonstrated daily.

These new devices join the award-winning KODAK FLEXCEL NX Digital Flexographic System in the Kodak flexographic product line, addressing different needs—from narrow to wide formats—in the very diverse package printing market.

For proofing needs, the KODAK APPROVAL NX Digital Color Imaging System is said to provide a robust, proven option for packaging professionals. Optimized for the FLEXCEL NX System, it’s said to enable package printers to reduce time to market, save money on flexographic plates, and more accurately meet customer expectations with digital proofs matching color and imaging on press.

Leveraging the power of KODAK Unified Workflow Solutions, which include KODAK PRINERGY POWERPACK Workflow, KODAK INSITE Solutions and KODAK COLORFLOW Software, package printers have a robust, modular and scalable solution that can streamline production while reducing cost and improving efficiency.
