• Dr. Gary A. Baum is designated the 2009 Gunnar Nicholson Gold Medalist by TAPPI, Norcross, GA. He served as director of corporate R&D for James River Corp. from 1989 through 1994.

• Goldenrod Corp., Beacon Falls, CT, recognizes Russ Roberts as its Direct Salesperson of the Year and CanFlexographics as its Sales Rep Organization of the Year.

• Michael (Andy) Easley, manufacturing services manager at AbitibiBowater, Coosa Pines, AL, has been named TAPPI's 2009 Paul W. Magnabosco Outstanding TAPPI Local Section Member.
