Auto Core Loading Option for Foil, Film Rewinders

HANOVER, PA | Elsner Engineering Works’ new ACL-18 automatic core loading ancillary device can assist overall production workflow in the conversion of household rolled goods, including aluminum foil, baking papers, and food film. Suitable for integration with the company’s AFR series of fully automatic rewinders. Device allows movement of the machine’s core loading position from above the machine to an easily accessible, floor-level location beside the machine. Relocation of loading also prevents blocking physical and visual access to the machine while core supply is restocked. Works on demand with the rewinder and integrates electronic sensors that trigger the unit to feed cores when the machine is running low or to pause when the machine-mounted core hopper and feeding device is at capacity.

Self-contained unit is said easily incorporated into existing machinery and is offered in widths up to 40 in. (1,016 mm).
