Smoothie Has Soft, Velvet Touch

ATLANTA, GA | Printpack introduces a velvet touch texture for new shrink sleeve film, designated NeoAffinia PETG. The matte finish imparts a soft feel to differentiate Nut Hill Café iced Italian espresso smoothie while also suggesting a natural look. The white film is said to provide superior light barrier protection for products that are negatively impacted by exposure to light, allowing marketers and manufacturers to consider replacing expensive multi-layer or pigmented containers with more cost-effective alternatives.

Material reportedly has a 70% shrinkage rate that’s suitable for use on highly contoured containers. Said to deliver more film per pound due to its lower density and higher yield for more attractive sustainability features. Printable with up to ten colors in rotogravure or flexographic, and is also suited for health and beauty as well as dairy and juice markets.

Shrink and roll fed labels, tamper-evident bands, and heat shrinkable sleeves for multipacks are printed in up to ten colors using flexographic and rotogravure printing on a variety of shrink films and laminations.
