Static Control System Ionizes Air, Monitors Web

HATFIELD, PA | Simco Industrial Static Control introduces PerforMAX IQ intelligent air ionization system, featuring a new narrow profile static bar and microprocessor-controlled and monitored power supply. An included web monitoring module identifies and displays any residual electrostatic charge on the material surface downstream of the ionizer, offering closed-loop feedback communication with the IQ power supply to enhance the neutralizing efficiency of the system. A communication module, in combination with a PLC or computer master, provides full system diagnostics, web charge readings, or alarms, utilizing software or a variety of popular fieldbus communication protocols, including Profibus, DeviceNet, EtherNet, or Modbus.
