ST. LOUIS, MO | Mark Andy updates the control system of its VSR line of slitter/rewinders to enhance options that improve productivity and flexibility. A Rockwell Automation control system has a menu-driven, full-color touch screen operator interface terminal that reduces operator training requirements. An incorporated servo-mode main drive and rewind tension are claimed to allow “perfect web control.” Remote diagnostics permit company to service and support with an instant equipment diagnosis while also allowing remote installation of applicable upgrades when needed.
