Executive Conference Examines Strategies for Post-Recession Manufacturing

CHICAGO, IL | Industry Week magazine will host a one-day conference  on May 20 at the Elysian Hotel in Chicago for C-level executives, titled “Pathway to Manufacturing Prosperity: Strategies for Post-Recession Manufacturing.” Subject matter will explore how today’s global manufacturing realities are altering the business landscape for companies and how the savviest are responding. Keynote speaker Nicole Y. Lamb-Hale, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for manufacturing and services within the International Trade Administration, will discuss global competitiveness as well as domestic and international solutions to reinvigorate US industry.

Also speaking will be Dean Scarborough, chairman, president, and CEO of Avery Dennison Corp., who is experienced in global markets and leads a global company that produces consumer products, pressure-sensitive adhesives, and materials that are used on a daily basis across many businesses and industries both in the US and abroad.
