- Published: April 13, 2010
ROSELAND, NJ | The Bobst Group will use this year’s Flexographic Technical Assn.’s Info*Flex gathering, Las Vegas, May 1-5, for the North American introduction of the new Fischer & Krecke Flexpress 15-S.
Introduced at an April, 2010, open house inaugurating F&K’s new Technology Ctr. in Bielefeld, Germany, the FP 15-S is the first in a new series of compact, easy to operate central impression flexo presses distinguished by proven F&K quality and long lasting reliability.
The FP 15-S offers a printing width of up to 49-in. and repeat lengths from 14.6-in. to 34.6-in. and requires minimum floor space. Ease of operation and maintenance is derived from advanced ergonomic engineering with features including adjacent positioning of the unwinder to the rewinder in a face-to-face winder configuration and location of the touch screen operating panel for unusually efficient accessibility.
The 15-S has a freshly designed bridge and inter-color dryers with exceptionally efficient drying performance and easy access for maintenance. A cantilever sleeve system contributes to the fast changeovers and easy handling typical of Fischer & Krecke presses. More importantly, the new model is smartGPS ready, the latest industry benchmark system for automatic registration and impression pre-setting.
Detailed information about the FP 15-S will be available from Bobst experts during Info*Flex at Bobst booths 612 and 614.
