Total Packaging Solutions Invests in Mark Andy P7 Press

ST. LOUIS, MO | Mark Andy announces the purchase of its Performance Series P7 press by Total Packaging Solutions, LLC, located in Miamisburg (Dayton area), OH. The converter is a recent startup, but after formerly outsourcing both offset and flexographic printing projects, it decided to bring flexo in-house and is now manufacturing labels and packaging for the tobacco industry. Management expects to broaden its product offering and customer bases while having more control over product quality.

The eight-color, 17-in. (430 mm), water-based press with final UV is equipped with a web turnbar, cold foil, two die-cut stations, and a video inspection system. Primarily purchased to run coated paper and light carton, the P7 is capable of accommodating additional applications and projects as the company expands into new markets.
