F&K Launches FLEXPRESS 15-Series at Open House

BIELEFELD, GERMANY | Fischer & Krecke is planning an open house to launch its new FP 15-S as part of the  manufacturer's FLEXPRESS 15 series of compact, easy to operate, central-impression flexographic presses that focus on quality and reliability. Themed “the key to premium flexo,” the open house will highlight key solutions for a wide range of demanding printing requirements for flexible packaging materials.

The FP-S has a print width of 1,250 mm (49in.) and an 880-mm (35 in.) repeat length. It requires minimum floor space with ergonomic features that include a face-to-face configuration for the  unwinder and rewinder as well as adjacent location of the touch screen operating panel for maximum accessibility. Also featured are a redesigned bridge and inter-color dryers for efficient drying performance that are easily accessed for maintenance. A cantilever sleeve system is said to contribute to fast changeovers and easy handling. F&Ks smartGPS™  permits automatic registration and impression presetting.
