DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers Announces Price Increase

WILMINGTON, DE | DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers (P&IP) announced a global price increase of $0.11 to $0.22 per kilogram for DuPont Appeel, Bynel, DuPont 20, Elvaloy, Elvaloy AC, Elvax, Entira, Fusabond, Nucrel, Selar and Surlyn, depending on the grade. This increase will take effect March 1, 2010. According to DuPont, raw materials continue to escalate as well as energy and transportation costs, necessitating the need for these increases.

Specific increases in local currency will be communicated to customers by DuPont P&IP’s regional sales and marketing organizations.
