Pagendarm Repositions Business Amidst Global Economic Challenges

HAMBURG, GERMANY | Pagendarm BTT GmbH adapts its capacities in light of the challenges posed by the global economy to take full advantage of the synergies offered by its parent company Polytype Converting AG in Switzerland. 

Among the proactive steps management has taken is to reduce the size of its workforce. However, with access to the full range of experience and expertise of both companies, benefits for Pagendarm customers will include anticipated simplified access to the modern infrastructure of the Swiss-based Polytype Converting, along with its state-of-the-art technology center and educational and training courses.

In addition, development of competence centers in both Germany and Switzerland will be fostered with different points of focus to maximize customer benefits for their businesses (relevant details are forthcoming, the company says).

Lastly, with this repositioning comes new leadership. Managing directors Ralph Pagendarm and Peter Belkowitz are thanked for their past direction with Peter Ruth assuming managing director status and Dr. Mechthild Wennemer taking charge of management as deputy managing director until further notice.
