- Published: October 07, 2009
WHITE CITY, OR | Tollcoating.com, a provider of contract coating services, celebrated its implementation of a new Faustel Labmaster pilot coater with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Aug. 27, which was attended by local and state officials. The Oregon manufacturing plant is one of only a few facilities nationwide to offer customers the advantage of conducting cost-effective pilot coating tests on a small scale. This enables design teams to quickly and easily implement coating refinements before going into full production.
Tollcoating.com now provides roll coating (one, two and three roll; forward and reverse), gravure, Mayer rod, polishing bar, and slot die coating to supplement its extensive research and formulation services. Its pilot coating line is located in the same facility as its production machines and provides CDT, UV curing, hot air drying, and lamination capabilities similar to the full-scale lines.
The business serves Fortune 100 customers as well as smaller companies, providing organizations with the ideal coating process for their application. Current product and process development efforts include formulations for nanoparticle coatings, multi-layer solvent and aqueous coatings, as well as emulsion and dispersion preparation and delivery.
Tollcoating.com services also include optical and photographic quality PET film manufacturing, extensive solutions preparation, advanced analytical lab capabilities and complete converting and packaging services.
