Procter & Gamble Exec To Address FTA Annual Forum

RONKOKOMA, NY | Paul France, principal engineer, technology entrepreneur, Printing & Substrates, Packaging Development, The Procter & Gamble Co., will address the crucial role color plays for consumer product companies at the kick-off session of the Foundation of the Flexographic Technical Assn.’s 2009 Fall Conference, themed “Color in the Crosshairs: Taking Aim at Repeatable & Predictable Color.” The conference is slated for Oct. 4-6, at the Hyatt Regency, in Cincinnati, OH.

Attendees will gain unique insight into what CPCs want from their print suppliers when it comes to leveraging existing equipment and resources, buying new equipment, and implementing systems and adhering to process control procedures, like those outlined in FIRST (Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications & Tolerances) 4.0.

France will walk attendees through the package development process to show them how they can meet and exceed customer expectations in a productive and profitable manner.

In his 18 years with P&G, France has had global assignments in both R&D and corporate engineering. Since 2006, he has held global responsibility for printing and decoration innovation for all P&G brands. Known as a pioneer in innovation within P&G’s corporate connect and develop strategy, France is constantly on the lookout for new technologies and new products.
