Microdynamics Donates Inspection Microscope to Clemson Univ.

WOODSTOCK, GA | MicroDynamics, Inc., has donated a complete 3DQC inspection microscope system to Clemson Univ.’s Sonoco Inst. Ctr. for Flexible Packaging Design and Graphics. The Institute supports the Graphic Communications and Packaging Sciences departments at Clemson Univ., as well providing training, testing and research laboratory services to the flexible packaging industry.
MicroDynamics has provided the Institute with the 3DQC for use in measuring cell volumes on anilox printing roles and providing surface topography details on a variety of surfaces. The 3DQC provides functions for anilox, gravure, flexo-plate, etched gravure, laser gravure and surface roughness analysis, and has accuracy and repeatability of less than +/-1%.
