ROSEMONT, IL | The biennially held Converting Machinery/Materials Conference & Exposition (CMM Show) opened its doors to attendees on June 2—4. While attendance was lower than anticipated, those converters driving forward momentum at their operations seized an opportunity to visit with exhibitors who enthusiastically revealed their unique brand of technology to help propel buyers into overdrive. If you missed the show and all the hard spent effort exhibitors, sponsoring organizations, and media put into its staging, don’t lose out completely by making sure you review several of the presentations that were video taped during the conference program.
Among those sessions you’ll find most intriguing was the panel I had the great honor to moderate on the subject of Folding Cartons, staged on June 3 at 11—12:30 P.M. Without a doubt, this panel featured the Who’s Who of folding carton experts. Michael Pfaff (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), the new president of Gallus (www.gallus-group.com), addressed “Folding Cartons” Offset or Flexo.” Christopher Raney (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), VP of Bobst Group (www.bobstgroup.com) in the US, covered “The Gravure Approach with Emphasis on Mid Web. And Joerg Daehnhardt (This email address is being protected from spambots.
