DuPont-Teijin Films Closes Plant in Circleville, OH

HOPEWELL, VA | DuPont-Teijin Films U.S. Limited Partnership has announced plans to cease operation of its polyester film line in Circleville, OH. The shutdown of this unit is expected to take place January 31, 2009.

A steep decline in US industrial production, intensified by inventory reductions across most supply chains, has translated into a matching downturn in polyester film demand. The company these conditions are likely to persist well into 2009.
