Dow Chemical Announces Paper/Paperboard Price Increase

MIDLAND, MI | The Dow Chemical Company has announced a $0.10/lb (dry) price increase for all styrene butadiene (S/B) latex products sold by Dow Emulsion Polymers to customers in the US and Canada serving the paper and paperboard industry. It is effective April 15, 2008, or as contracts permit. The company says the price increase is required to help offset the continued rising costs of hydrocarbons and raw materials, such as benzene, styrene and butadiene, used to manufacture products.
