Cohoes, NY | Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. was awarded Best of Show in the “Innovations in Paper Usage and Substrates” category at the 2008 ON DEMAND Conference & Exposition, held in Boston in early March. Mohawk, the only paper manufacturer to receive one of the nine Best of Show awards, received its award for the carbon neutral Beckett Cambric line, which debuted at the conference.
Craig Slemp, Mohawk’s senior VP of marketing and business planning who accepted the award on Mohawk’s behalf, said, “The relaunch of Beckett Cambric has made this historic linen-textured paper a much-needed and contemporary alternative to what is available. Beckett Cambric has modern colors, heavier weights, is FSC certified and made carbon neutral, and is another addition to Mohawk’s offering of textured papers engineered to run on HP Indigo presses.”
