AIMCAL, CEMA To Hold Web Handling Conference

FORT MILL, SC | The Industrial Metallizers, Coaters & Laminators Assn. and CEMA, the Converting Equipment Mfrs. Assn. will hold the second annual technical conference devoted to applied web handling technologies within the converting, paper, and plastics industries from May 6—9, 2008, at the Radisson Univ. Hotel, Minneapolis, MN.

The AIMCAL Applied Web Handling Conference is open to both members and non-members of AIMCAL and will feature three days of industry presentations and business networking opportunities. Papers detailing technologies and applied research, current or future, that will directly improve productivity and/or reduce waste generation in web handling processes will be presented.

Topics will include “exceptional and innovative web handling techniques, equipment, design, materials and process improvements.” Prospective attendees include technical professionals within engineering, quality and production control functions involving web handling and converting. Table-top receptions will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
