RotoMetics Celebrates 50 Years

This year, RotoMetrics celebrates its 50th anniversary in business. In 1957, Richard R. Rosemann, founder of Roto-Die (later to become RotoMetrics), began designing and manufacturing simple rotary dies in St. Louis, MO, for flexographic press manufacturers. From the late 70s to the early 80s, RotoMetrics was the first manufacturer of rotary tooling to automate the process by adding CNC machining capabilities, which ultimately replaced the pantograph for die manufacturing.

RotoMetrics opened an international office in the United Kingdom in 1989, becoming the first manufacturer of rotary tooling to open an international office.
