ROCHESTER, NY | Nukote’s new pilot coating line provides a platform for developing solutions and optimizing product performance for commercial use. The line can accommodate solvent, aqueous, and hot-melt coatings using slot die, wire rod, gravure, or reverse roll coating methods. The coater has both oven drying and chill roll features with laminating capabilities.

Full capabilities include: five coating lines, a width capacity of 42 inches, pilot coating, solvent coating with incineration, solvent handling, flexible substrate coating (including thin film), reverse roll coating head, wire rod coating head, slot die, hot-melt gravure coating head, direct/offset gravure coating head, multiple zone ovens, milling, pigment dispersions, coating and ink formulation, slitting and converting, assembly and packaging, and polyethylene extrusion.
