Creo's BIG NEWS for the Packaging Industry
According to the Canadian-based company, Creo new products for converters centers on the OEMs thermal computer-to-plate (CTP) devices. - Flexo
: The introduction of a new ThermoFlex option for flexographic sleeve manufacturing, "designed to take full advantage of award-winning Hyper-Flex resolution-enhancement technology.
- Gravure
: Creo will launch the new Exactus thermal gravure system, "making Creo the first prepress company to offer all three printing technologies with the benefits of CTP."
- Offset
: Creo will introduce the next generation of Magnus VLF CTP device, the Mirus PN negative thermal plate, and the new Spotless printing technology.
In addition, at Drupa, Creo says it will demonstrate complete workflow solutions "that bring the power of automation to converters, package printers, and trade shops. This will include new packaging-specific screenings and features in its Prinergy Powerpack workflow; a new release of Pandora, the step-and-repeat solution for folding carton and label work; and Prinergy Evo, an affordable workflow system with proven PDF processing power." Add the prepress provider: "Creo's efforts signal its commitment to developing solutions that meet the ever-increasing demand for packaging producers to manufacture higher quality, color-consistent packaging in a tighter time frame and at reduced costs."
