Graphic Arts Industry Portal Features Education Discounts Section

RESTON, VA, USA—A new "Education Discounts" section on Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation (GAERF) website, GRAPHIC COMM CENTRAL (http://www.teched.vt.edu/gcc/HTML/EdDiscounts/EdDiscounts.html), provides suppliers with an opportunity to market products directly to graphic communications at the nationa's schools, says GAERF.

"Using the Education Discounts section, suppliers can promote special discounts available to educators only. These discounts must be 10 percent lower than any other discount offered," states GAERF. "The section both provides an opportunity for suppliers to put their products in the hands of future graphic communications industry employees and assists the school programs to obtain the most current technology for their students. There is no charge for posting these special discounts to educators."

GAERF says, since 1997, GRAPHIC COMM CENTRAL has been the portal for graphic communications teachers and students. It provides access to thousands of educational resources and is accessed approximately 200,000 times a month by educators, their students, and other graphic communication industry members.
