Xeikon to Be Liquidated, Says Agfa

MORTSEL, BELGIUM—Agfa-Gevaert released the following announcement regarding its business with Xeikon:
In view of the announcement made [Tuesday] by Xeikon—that "upon completion of the transfer of the activities and sale of assets, Xeikon will be put into liquidation"—Agfa-Gevaert has decided to write off (during the closure of the 2001 books) the remaining value of €13 million [that] Xeikon represented in Agfa-Gevaert's books.
