Release-Liner Review at LabelExpo USA

HERTS, U.K.—LabelExpo USA attendees interested in learning more about the release-liner market conditions will want to check this out. A one-day review of the release-liner market is slated for September 9, 2002, says review-event organizer, AWA Conferences (a division of international coating-and-converting industry market research specialists, Alexander Watson Associates).

AWA says the event is intended to update the North American audience on recent release-liner market developments and adds the one-day review complements its very successful European release-liner market conference, which is held annually in Amsterdam.

According AWA, the one-day review is wide-ranging and will include a review of industry issues, opportunities, and the value-chain; papers from leading raw material manufacturers, which will evaluate pulp trends and the implications for release liners (as well as for papers, films, and silicones); and an examination of the market from three different value-chain points—release-liner producer, labelstock laminator, and a converter/user.

AWA says the increasingly important issue of recycling release-liner materials also will be covered. The one-day review will conclude with a paper on marketing and branding in the release-liner industry.
