Cards & Systems Solutions, a leader in the manufacturing of plastic cards and comprehensive fulfillment services, has received a successful installation of the Rollem InsigniaX3 Rotary Die Cutter. This investment is part of the company's ongoing commitment to retain and expand full in-house production. "We always produce 100% of our projects in-house; it's part of our policy," states Cards & Systems Solutions’ President, Miguel Ángel González Shaadi.
With over 30 years of experience, Cards & Systems Solutions has established itself as a PVC expert, specializing in the production of identification products, smart cards, and security documents. The company's infrastructure allows for the production of 120 million cards annually.
The InsigniaX3 Die Cutter is a game-changer for Cards & Systems Solutions’ production because the X3 model was specifically designed to cut materials up to 30 pt. thickness.
"We were initially impressed with the Insignia’s ease of use, performance, production output, job registration, and efficient scrap removal,” states Miguel.
This extends to Cards & System’s various card applications, including plastic ID and insurance cards, retail cards, loyalty cards, specialty shaped cards, and gift card carriers. With this addition to their finishing department, the company plans to introduce several new types of card carriers, customized card boxes, and card labels for banking cards.
“We are dedicated to providing customized solutions to our clients. Integrating the InsigniaX3 into our production line has not only allowed us optimal control over our production efficiency but expanded our customizable product offerings, ensuring we deliver high-quality products to meet our client's expectations," concludes Miguel Ángel González Shaadi.
The Insignia Series of Die Cutters include die-cutting, kiss-cutting, embossing, perforating, creasing, and hole punching as standard functions with any Insignia model. The InsigniaX3 rotary die cutter utilizes flexible dies, cutting materials up to 30 pt. thickness, allowing the system to process a variety of thick substrates, including paper, cardstock, PVC, PET, plastic, and vinyl, with variable speeds up to 5,000 sheets per hour.
Rollem’s Insignia Series of Die-Cutters have been adopted by a variety of print providers across the U.S. and Internationally. And it’s very versatile - the three model sizes complement most press sizes, each system includes the automatic waste stripping section and users can opt for a choice of three delivery types to best suit their demands.
Insignia Die-Cutters are proudly made in the U.S.A. They are sold direct from Rollem International and supported by a dedicated product manager and training from a team of Rollem’s qualified technicians.
