On March 26–27, 2025, adphos Thermal Processing GmbH welcomed industry professionals to its headquarters in Bruckmuehl, Germany, for an exclusive two-day workshop focused on the future of coil processing. The event spotlighted the groundbreaking aNIR® technology, which is setting new benchmarks in energy efficiency, sustainability, and process optimization for metal processing and coil coating.

The workshop attracted a diverse group of industry leaders and decision-makers eager to explore the benefits of aNIR®. A highlight of the event was a live demonstration of a cutting-edge coil coating drying system, tested under real production conditions before customer delivery, where attendees witnessed the precision, efficiency, and environmental advantages of aNIR® technology in action.

By enabling targeted, energy-efficient heat application, aNIR® significantly reduces both operating costs and CO₂ emissions.

In addition to the hands-on demonstration, participants gained valuable insights through a series of expert-led presentations. Topics ranged from optimizing production workflows to strategies for cutting energy consumption — highlighting how aNIR® can transform industrial drying and curing processes.

With energy prices soaring and environmental regulations tightening, the demand for sustainable, CO₂-free alternatives to conventional drying systems has never been higher. The compact and flexible design of aNIR® allows for seamless integration into existing production lines, offering a smarter, more sustainable approach.

"The response to our workshop was overwhelming. We are pleased that so many industry experts have recognized the potential of our technology and that we can work together on more efficient and sustainable solutions", said Dr. Kai K. O. Bär, CEO of adphos Thermal Processing GmbH.
