PGSF Announces Winner of Fall Box Design Contest

The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) has annoucned Audrey Walch as the 2024 Fall Student Box Design Contest winner. Audrey is in her second year studying Graphic Communications at California Polytechnic State University, minoring in Packaging. Audrey’s winning design was one of over 70 submitted for the PGSF Fall Box Contest.

PGSF has hosted two box design contests for the 2024-25 academic year. The Spring Box Contest is open until April 30th, and university and high school students can submit a design.

The Box Design Contest is just one of the design contests PGSF organizes annually.

Students can submit design entries for Posters and T-Shirts in addition to boxes using one of three themes:

- Print is Authentic

- Print is Sustainable

- Print is Innovative

The Spring box contest closes on April 30, with winners announced by May 31.

The PGSF Design Contests demonstrate to students the many career markets available in graphic communications by illustrating with the designs ink transfer to different substrates.

Posters are printed and displayed in schools across the U.S., T-shirts are produced and made available for purchase as a fundraiser, and boxes are being used to send promotional information. Winners of each design contest receive a check for $500.
