National Starch Biz Unit Vinamul Polymers to Up Prices on Emulsions as of February 16, 2004

BRIDGEWATER, NJ, USA—Vinamul Polymers, a business unit of National Starch and Chemical Co., reports it will be increasing the price on all of its acrylic, vinyl acetate homopolymer, and copolymer emulsions as well as all ethylene-vinyl acetate emulsions by 2 cents per wet pound. The converting-material manufacturer says the price increases will be effective as of February 16, 2004, or as contracts allow.
