The digitalization trend continues and so at this year's LogiMAT in Stuttgart everything will revolve around product digitalization and smart packaging solutions at Securikett. In addition to digital topics, sustainability and environmental protection will also be major focal points.

The advance of digitalization brings many new opportunities for brand owners. "It has never been so easy to generate and automatically analyze large amounts of data. Our in-house IoT platform enables the creation of a so-called digital twin of each individual product. This provides the brand owner with valuable data on the entire lifecycle of a product, which is automatically captured and analyzed by the system. The potential applications are versatile and range from supply chain management and consumer loyalty to product authentication and track & trace, to name just a few possibilities," said Oliver Kotzina, head of Securikett's IT department.
Sustainable and Secure Paper Packaging
Just recently, Securikett's product line of sustainable and environmentally friendly security labels has been expanded to include paper labels with built-in opening tabs and peel-off barriers. According to the company's management, the IT'S PAPER family now includes a broad portfolio of diverse paper labels that are equipped with a wide range of security features and have a positive impact on the circular economy.
"Cardboard and paper packaging can be recycled together in the simplest way with these latest paper security labels, as they remain firmly anchored to the packaging," said Werner Horn, CEO of the Austrian security label manufacturer.
Anti-counterfeiting and Anti-tampering
As in previous years, Securikett's core competence, security solutions against counterfeiting and manipulation, will be a fixture at LogiMAT.
These security measures enable retailers and consumers to distinguish original products from counterfeit or illegally traded items. Visitors can look forward to demonstrations of visually impressive security features such as exceptionally striking opening effects.
