Martin Automatic celebrates sale to LMI Packaging

The Martin Automatic booth at Labelexpo Americas was the scene of a celebration to formally mark the sale of the LRD automatic rewinder on working display to LMI Packaging of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

The LRD rewinder is the most recent of Martin sales to LMI which has a bank of Mark Andy Performance Series flexo presses producing a variety of printed packaging.  One of the key factors in making this latest investment was the praise previous LRD units have attracted from LMI’s press operators on the production floor

Speaking for LMI, CEO JP Moran commented: “We see Martin Automatic as the industry standard for improved efficiency on narrow web presses and we anticipate the new LRD will bring savings in time, effort, and material waste.”
