GMG Upgrades Proofing Media

TUEBINGEN, GERMANY | GMG, developer of high-end color management solutions, reports the introduction of two lines of proof media, ProofMedia premium and ProofMedia studio. The newly formulated coating, applied on the premium line, is said to make the proof media more fade-resistant. 

“We have been offering our high-grade GMG ProofMedia for fifteen years, with consistent quality,” says Robert Weihing, GMG managing director. “While our customers have been very happy with it, we have set a new benchmark for high-end contract proofing with ProofMedia premium. We receive very positive feedback from our most critical customers.”

Weihing says ProofMedia premium is the right choice for demanding users, including brand owners, who need the most reliable color reference.

“Print suppliers are interested in showing what a final print will look like in terms of color appearance, paper weight, surface texture, among other factors. This can be perfectly achieved on the studio line media,” says Yi Wang, GMG product manager.

Company says the latest versions of the software are fully compatible with the new ProofMedia portfolio, ready to ensure that users can get the best proofing results.
