Catbridge Offers Details of New Slitter/Rewinder

PARSIPPANY, NJ | Catbridge Machinery reports the launch of the 900 Modular Duplex Slitter/Rewinder System (900-M). The American-made 900-M duplex center winder, designed for the flexible packaging industry, is said to offer numerous productivity features, a choice of configurations, and the adaptability to grow with user’s business. 

“The 900-M is a ‘performance meets value’ machine. All the high performance and features you expect from [our company] are packaged for this industry at an attractive price,” says Catbridge president Michael Pappas.

Company says productivity components include robust construction for 24/7 operations as well as cutting-edge technologies and special features to help ensure efficiency and accuracy. An advanced yet user-friendly control system coordinates functions and lets operators perform many time-saving, high-level production and maintenance tasks.

For versatility, the 900-M can be equipped to handle a variety of primary films, flexible packaging laminations, and papers. This duplex slitter/rewinder can also be configured for specific customer needs by allowing for multiple slitting methods and unwind options.

Converters can trial the new model at the slitting lab at company’s Montville, NJ, facility.
