AmeriStar Call for Entry Extended

NAPERVILLE, IL, USA—The Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) has announced an entry extension for its 2002 AmeriStar Package Awards; the submission deadline July 15, 2002.

According to IoPP, the AmeriStar Package Awards honor the best packages of the year and acknowledge those that have contributed to outstanding creativity of a package design.

There are 14 package categories, including food, beverage, health and beauty, electronics, and medical-related industries, in the competition. Winners will be notified by October 1, 2002, and an award reception will be held during Pack Expo, November 6, 2002, at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL. AmeriStar winning packages will be displayed in the Grand Concourse of the trade show venue during the November event, adds IoPP.
