Maxcess Sells REM Manufacturing

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK | Maxcess, a global supplier of products and services for the web handling industry, reports the sale of REM manufacturing to Associated Machine Design, Green Bay, WI. Maxcess has sold all assets, intellectual property, and the brand of REM, which was purchased by Webex in 2010.
“This acquisition fits with our vision to provide high quality web handling equipment solutions,” says Jeff Taylor, CEO of Associated Machine Design. “REM is a proven slitter/rewinder system with a solid customer base, and we look forward to serving the needs of existing customers and building new relationships moving forward.”
All quote requests, including new machines, rebuilds, spare parts, or any other REM needs will now be will be handled by Associated Machine Design.
“This divesture of REM is consistent with our desired focus on being a one-stop-shop for web handling components,” says Maxcess CEO Greg Jehlik.
