Sun Chemical Products Clean Plates and Anilox Rolls

PARSIPPANY, NJ | Sun Chemical offers SunVisto Anilox Renew and the SunVisto Power Scrub, consumable technology said to be a high-performance and environmentally friendly cleaning solution that effectively helps scour heavily soiled plates and anilox rollers.

Company says SunVisto Anilox Renew is a highly concentrated cleaner designed to provide a deep cleaning foam that brings heavily soiled plates and anilox rollers back to their “like new” condition and minimizes or eliminates the need for sending anilox rollers out for cleaning. By applying it weekly, most anilox rolls will not require bi-weekly removal and blasting, eliminating costs and improving overall quality.

SunVisto Power Scrub complements the Anilox Renew as a total cleaning system, using the same technology built into Anilox Renew at a more economical price, and it can be used on any surface. The non-corrosive foaming technology allows customer to control the amount of cleaner being applied, reducing the amount of wasted wash. Power Scrub is also said to be environmentally friendly as VOCs are less than 5% using Method 24.

“There are a variety of things that could cause a printer to need our new SunVisto Anilox Renew and SunVisto Power Scrub,” said Dennis Sweet, VP, Rycoline, Sun Chemical. “These range from printers needing to send out their anilox rollers to be cleaned or soda blasted, losing production time with a press down due to the inability to match color, experiencing dirty print caused by contamination on the printing plates, to simply taking a long time to clean press parts and plates. It is a difference-making solution which can easily wipe away buildup and contamination that accumulates during the print process.”

Each cleaning solution can be used in flexo, corrugated, folding carton, and other printing processes, and in commercial coating and UV applications.
