Kampf Slitter Has Many New Features

WINDSOR, CT | Kampf reports the new Autoslit III is a “high-productivity” dual turret slitter/rewinder suited for working widths to 2,250 mm and a finished roll diameter to 630 mm. 

Features include the air differential ball friction rewind shafts, laser-assisted and automatic core positioning, motorized finished roll stripper, automatic unloading stand, and an optimized slitting section for all common slitting systems up to a fully automatic shear cut slitting section.

Automatic finished roll sealing-taping and core positioning in conjunction with customized handling systems are said to create a fast, productive slitter for flexible materials. The design features state-of-the-art drive technology with AC servo motors, PLC Siemens S7 linked with an industrial PC with touch display and router for remote diagnosis, thus offering a maximum ease of operation.

Machine offers mechanical speeds to 1,000 mpm. Operator panels and drive cabinet with the entire electrical installation and pneumatics are integral components of the machine, and on-site assembly is simple and quick.
