NEENAH, WI | NimCor, an OEM of air shafts, chucks, and bowed rolls, has moved to new facilities at Webex headquarters in Neenah. In 2004 NimCor became a fully owned subsidiary of Webex, supplier of precision rolls.
According to Webex CEO Gary Edwards, the move to consolidate NimCor operations in Wisconsin is part of a strategic plan to support and grow the brand. "We have established very focused initiatives to drive NimCor’s growth through customer-driven product innovations and value-added acquisitions. Parallel to these initiatives, we have a series of operational plans focusing on increased capacity through facility expansions and the application of lean initiatives. Bringing NimCor to Wisconsin has many advantages. Most importantly, this allows us to grow and enhance the product offering and provide the best value to our customers….”
Edwards says the first of many investments in growing the NimCor product line is underway, including the recent purchase of new carbon fiber winding machinery.
