MILWAUKEE, WI | Rockwell Automation introduces the Allen-Bradley SMC-50 solid-state smart motor controller. Company says the controller addresses the motor control needs of OEMs and end-users seeking a more economical alternative to drives and more advanced control than across-the-line starters.
The controller is said to combine advanced monitoring and protection features, multiple start and stop options, and expandable control inputs and outputs, features that help users increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve control.
Utilizing advanced power monitoring and diagnostics, controller is suited for many applications, including material handling, blowers and dryers, and compressors (air or gas).
