DuPont Cyrel Key to Five FTA Winners

WILMINGTON, DE | The Flexographic Technology Assn. (FTA) recently announced its Excellence in Flexography Award winners during its 54th Annual Forum and 30th Anniversary INFO*FLEX Exhibition in San Antonio, TX. DuPont Cyrel was the image carrier of choice for five of the eight Best of Show winners and all Best of Show winners submitted by North American companies.
The five winners were:
• Narrow Web: Labelad – Canada • Mid-Web: Plastic Packaging (http://www.ppi-hky.com/) – US
• Wide Web: Ampac Paper – US
• Corrugated: Advance Packaging Corp. (through Printron Engravers) - US
• Preprinted Linerboard: Rock-Tenn Co. – US
"Again this year, the FTA Excellence Awards demonstrated just how far flexographic printing has come and the world-class quality that flexo is capable of," says Wendy Andrushko, North American director of sales for DuPont Packaging Graphics. "We are also delighted to note that this is the first time that a Best of Show was awarded to a Cyrel Round user—printed by Plastic Packaging with sleeves imaged by Southern Graphics—and were very pleased that, once again, a high percentage of the award winners were printed with Cyrel. We wish to recognize all those customers that continue to advance flexography."
