GREENVILLE, NC | A Scodix 1200 digital press is now being deployed for the first time by AccuLink, (http://www.acculink.com) a leading US print service provider, adding the Scodix SENSE printing experience to its service offerings.
Financing for the digital press was made available by Hewlett-Packard Financial Services Co. (HPFS), the leasing and lifecycle asset management sub. of Hewlett-Packard Co. (HP). Scodix is an HP Gold Partner, enabling its customers to benefit from HPFS financing offers that help conserve capital for new technology investments that expand services.
The Scodix1200 produces Scodix SENSE, a digital printing experience said to produce a high quality look and tangible dimension. The press registers clear polymer, reportedly with pinpoint accuracy, to images using a patented optical guidance system. Delivering variable levels of thickness and texture on single or dual-sided printing, it has the capacity to produce up to 99 Gloss Units, polymer height to 70 microns, and density capabilities from 1%–100%.
