Telstar Plow Fold Unit Is for Booklets, Coupons

BURNSVILLE, MN | Telstar Engineering announces the Plow Fold Unit for booklet and coupon multi-web productions, offering custom units for single, double, and triple folds. Systems run at 150 fpm and can bolt inline to virtually any brand veteran or new press.

Company says the technology works so well due to its unwind/rewind equipment, incorporating accurate, reliable closed-loop tension control during the unwind process. Portable unwind rolls right up to the press and features closed-loop tension, a splice table, and lateral adjustment.

Company also reports it has added retrofit units to virtually every brand of label press over the years to synch perfectly with the parent machine, and this same high performance standard and demand for repeatability holds true when creating booklet and coupon labels.
