IMLCON & IMDCON 2011 Had Much to Offer

SCOTTSDALE, AZ | The 2011 International In-Mold Labeling & Decorating Conference, IMLCON & IMDCON 2011, organized and presented by AWA Conferences & Events, was attended by more than 110 delegates in Phoenix, AZ, November 16–8, 2011. The conference was co-sponsored by the In-Mold Decorating Assn. (IMDA), which held its 2011 annual meeting prior to the conference opening.

Jon Knight, Treofan America, presented the keynote address entitled “The Year that I-IML ‘Took Off’ in North America”. IMDA members offered four additional presentations and a discussion panel on “How to Encourage the Use of IML.”

The event also included a well-attended exhibition, two cocktail receptions, a luncheon, and opportunities for networking. A highlight was the ceremony during which the winners of the 2011 IMDA Awards Competition were honored. The competition welcomed 28 entries from 12 companies worldwide.
