Mettler-Toledo Offers Label Serialization Stations

COLUMBUS, OH | Mettler-Toledo PCE reports the Label Serialization Stations (LSS) can be fully integrated into the production line for the 
pharmaceutical and healthcare industry to print track-and-trace labels at a rate to 500/min. The LSS, which prints and verifies labels automatically, is also available as a compact tabletop solution.
The system combines a printing module with a high-resolution camera and an automatic reject system for faulty labels. A thermal transfer printer applies high-contrast ink to every label with outstanding precision, company says, and the durable, abrasion-resistant print image is ideal for serialization data.
Robust housing, which has a steel-tube frame, protects all components from dust and contamination and has two large doors to provide easy access for cleaning and maintenance work.
