Monadnock to Partner with Smart Planet Technologies

BENNINGTON, NH | Monadnock Paper Mills has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Smart Planet Technologies, Newport Beach, CA, for use of its extruded EarthCoating technology for adhesive beverage labels in North America. Smart Planet Technologies is a packaging materials technology company with intellectual property focused on advancements in sustainability for the packaging industry.

EarthCoating, when used as a plastic lamination replacement, is said to provide a unique option for demanding wet label applications. Company says cost-effective EarthCoating minerals enhance fiber bonding strength and surface tack with p-s and other adhesives used in beverage labeling.
