Klöckner Pentaplast Films Shrink with Impact

GORDONSVILLE, VA | Klöckner Pentaplast reports the Pentalabel film line now includes PETG roll-sleeve films for shrink labels. Film is said to provide brand owners with the high shelf impact of full-body shrink sleeves for high-volume applications.
Films are engineered to be processed on existing roll-fed label machinery. Low shrink-initiation temperature means minimal shrink tunnel length is required for energy savings and high-output line speed. Company says brand owners can achieve the same 360-deg superior graphics of shrink-sleeve films with the efficiency and speed of roll-on and paper labels.
Films can be used for full- or partial-body coverage with a wide array of container configurations and are available in a range of shrinkage properties from medium to super high. They are suitable for beverage, dairy, food, and healthcare label applications and are reported ideal for multi-packs and tamper-evident bands/security closures. Offered in transparent or opaque colors with a gloss/gloss or matte/gloss surface finish, films are suited for gravure, flexographic, rotary offset, and digital printing.
