International Awards for Five TLMI Members

GLOUCESTER, MA | The Tag and Label Mfrs. Inst. (TLMI) has announced that five of the association’s label converter members have won first-place honors in the World Label Assn. Awards Competition. The awards were formally presented at the recent TLMI Converter Meeting in Phoenix, AZ. The winners of the World Label Assn. Competition, which is in its 22nd year, are chosen from a group comprised of first-place winners from association label competitions around the globe including TLMI, FINAT, the Japanese Label Foundation (JFLP), the Label and Tag Mfrs. Assn. of Australia (LATMA), the Self Adhesive Label Mfrs. Assn. of New Zealand (SALMA) and the Label Mfrs. Assn. of India (LMAI). The winners are as follows:

• ASL Print FX won for the ‘Red Tile Chardonnay’ label

• Bonham Label won for the ‘PSA/DNA Authenticity’ label

• Collotype-USA won for the ‘Wren Hop Pinot Noir & Bailey’s Mudslide’ label

• DRG Technologies won for the company’s ‘Hoover Triple Air’ label

• McDowell Label & Screen Printing won two awards for the ‘Vital C’ and ‘Hydradermal Anti-Aging’ labels
